Eibhlin Boydell (née O’Somachain) is the founder of Sound Communications. Eibhlin has several years experience in the media and communications sectors. She is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations. Eibhlin holds a BA (Hons) in English & History and is qualified by the National Council for the Training of Journalists for a Foundation in Journalism.
Eibhlin is a Committee Member of Women in Enterprise, a member of the Londonderry Chamber of Commerce and Vice Chair of the Diverse Media Association currently under development.
Eibhlin has recently returned to the North West of Ireland after working for several years throughout England. Some of the companies that Eibhlin has recently worked with include:

- The re-branding of the British Cleaning Council
- Organisation of British Cleaning Council events, award ceremonies and seminars
- Management of the BCC website, newsletters and press campaigns
- Keep Britain Tidy campaigns and events
- National spokesperson for multiple organisations
- In-house media training
- PR strategy development
- Production of varied marketing literature.
