Paperjam Design, who have expanded their operations into the North West, have won a new client – none other than the Diocese of London and the Bishop of London.
The Northern Irish firm are delighted to have won a branding contract for one of the oldest London institutions, spanning over 300 years. Director Paul Malone said: “This is a coup indeed for our business, in austere times where establishments the worldover are tightening their belts, we’re encouraged that such a large and esteemed establishment would take on the services of a Northern Irish firm.”
Paperjam, the design house behind the branding of the Merchant Hotel, has also been getting connected with London-Derry connections, the local firm looking to create 400 jobs between London and Derry in the lead up to 2013. Paperjam is currently on the NORIBIC i-factory programme and their Derry base will be sited at NORIBIC’s Digital Media Works incubator at North West Regional College.
Paul added: “We’re looking forward to working in Derry, City of Culture, and perhaps playing apart in persuading Londonfirms to build bridges with Northern Irish firms.”
Joe Doherty from London-Derry Connections said:”Our objective of creating 400 jobs for the 400th anniversary of the link between the two cities will be based on intense and creative networking betweencreative entrepreneurs and talented professionals at many levels.
“Paperjam fits perfectly into this scenario and we look forward to more and more small companies getting involved in trading and investment between Derry and London, with the help of the contacts we can introduce them to, through our series of business networking events in London.”
