The North West Women in Enterprise (WIE) group is starting 2010 with a brand new Committee and a full calendar of events beginning with Focus for Business, taking place at Da Vinci’s Hotel on Thursday 25th February at 7pm.
Julie Pollock, Chair of the Committee, said: “This is an exciting time for the North West Women in Enterprise; with new members on board we have plenty of exciting events planned for the year ahead.
“I am delighted to be part of the group and would urge anyone interested in finding out more about what we do to come along to our first event”.
Tracy Hegarty, WIE Director, said: “Women in Enterprise has recently had 11 new women join the Committee who are all keen to develop the WIE network and support women in business, not just business owners. With our new events being planned, the Committee is keen to understand what we can do to support our members in business.”
The Focus for Business event will involve group discussions on the current challenges businesses are facing and how the WIE network can support its membership, through monthly events or by looking at potential for mentoring, business advice and guidance.
